BRIEF: Directors of the CCWC identified the need for improved community outreach, membership recruitment and an online vehicle for internal communication for its volunteers.
Primary goals were improving the visibility of the workshop as a community asset, listing its services, safety information and emphasizing its inclusive values. Elements were employed to widen the workshop's appeal beyond the current demographic to modern audiences.
Website Re-design
As part of a overall marketing strategy, engaging visual cues and imagery were employed to reflect the youthful membership the co-operative is recruiting. Essential member information was made more convenient, such as workshop opening schedule, news blog, along with added cart functions to allow memberships and classes to be sold online.
From timely data that can be updated remotely, to resources to engage the community, the volume of information was carefully edited to concise and pertinent content in order to be useful to volunteers and members alike.
Being able to offer a convenient platform for reviewing and booking classes has improved the attendance and delivery of teaching opportunities, helping the CCWC meet it's mission statement as a community service.
